Director of Staff Development

Plan, direct and coordinate educational programs for all personnel and monitor resident care practices to assess in-service needs.  Ideally, the candidate will have a professional nursing registration and a bachelor’s degree in nursing either completed or in progress.  3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in Long Term Care, teaching, supervision and experience relating to all levels of employees within the organization.

 

RN Nurse Manager

Manage a dedicated Alzheimer’s Unit.  The candidate should have

3-5 years of nursing experience in Alzheimer’s Care, IV and CPR certification.  Duties require extensive knowledge of long term care nursing and management, state, federal and Joint Commission standards. 

R.N. – Responsible for coordinating daily activities of nursing personnel on units and ensure the physical, social and emotional care for the residents.  Candidate will perform in OBRA regulations and joint commission standards. One or two years of clinical nursing experience are preferred along with IV certification and CPR certification.

Shift: 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.  24 Hour Positions

 

C.N.A. - Responsible for assisting nursing unit staff in providing care and services to the resident, including assisting with the activities of daily living and other services requested for or by the resident.  Preferably, the candidate would have up to one month of experience on the job to become proficient in the responsibilities of the position.

Shift: 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.  24 Hour Positions

 

Maintenance/Security Guard – Responsible for performing a variety of duties to ensure the protection and security of residents, staff and facilities.  Perform routing maintenance duties.  Duties require knowledge equivalent to the completion of four years of high school. Prior experience preferred.Shift: 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m.  371/2 Hour Position.  Must be able to work every weekend.

Housekeer/Laundry Assistant - Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing residents’ rooms, bathrooms and other areas as assigned. Also be able to receive, sort, wash, dry, press and distribute residents’ personal clothing and the facility’s linen. Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 371/2 Hour Position.  Must be able to work every other weekend.
